Community Activities
The Daren Persson Funeral Service team has been collecting children’s coats for the last month. They placed posters in the office windows with local residents dropping in with their unwanted coats. The team delivered eight large bags of children’s coats to the YMCA.
Operations Manager Carl Tate said: “I really am over the moon with the support from local residents and how many young children will benefit from these. Speaking with the YMCA, they said they covered all of the North East and County Durham and couldn’t thank us enough”.
Carl and the team have already offered their assistance in future community work and look forward to participating in more fundraising events.
