From the moment we met Bill the Funeral Director, we instantly knew that we wanted them to conduct my Dad's funeral. Not only was Bill professional, but he was very supportive and genuinely seemed to care about my Dad and us as a family. Steve the celebrant was also just as caring and professional, the way he delivered my Dad's Eulogy was beautiful and everyone commented on the lovely service. There were people that had never actually met my Dad as they were there to support us, however they said because of the beautiful service they felt like they had known my Dad for years. Can't fault Daren Persson Funeral Services in any way, and we will be forever grateful to them for what they done for my Dad and the family, and for giving him a beautiful send off. Thank you

Daren Persson funeral directors conducted my dads funeral on 6th March 2026 at Tynemouth Crematorium.
From the initial call made, every dealing with the company was conducted with absolute professionalism.
Roy was the funeral director who was our point of contact and who handled everything.
He explained everything clearly and was so polite and respectful towards us. Nothing was a problem.
Roy kept us up to date with every stage of the process, and told us when he would next be in touch. He even attended the premesis on his day off out of hours to arrange a request.
The day before the funeral Roy got in touch to explain fully the order of events, again providing reassurance and asking if we had any questions.
Its only after an event like this you look back and assess how things have gone. I had absolute confidence in having Roy dealing with every aspect of my dads funeral.
Thank you Daren Perssons, and in particular to Roy, who helped me deal with this significant event with his attentivenes, professionalism and very polite and respectful manner. A credit to the company.

My Mum died recently and I chose to use Daren Persson as my funeral director as my family have used them before.
They were all fantastic from start to finish. The respect for not only myself but the rest of my family and mourners was second to none.
Every thing I wished for was carried out to the last detail.
Bill carried out the arrangement and Roy conducted the funeral, respect to both I can't thank you enough.
