Community Activities
On 4th April 2026, Daren Persson Funeral Services hosted a successful Easter Egg Hunt in Wallsend, bringing together families and members of the local community for an afternoon of fun and celebration.
Organised by Bill, Suzanne, Heather and Daren, the event aimed to support local children and provide a welcoming activity for people of all ages to enjoy together during Easter.
More than 50 children took part in the hunt, with smiles shared by both children and adults throughout the day. The team felt the event was a meaningful way to give back to the community, especially to families who may be less fortunate, while helping strengthen local connections and community spirit.
